Young Researcher's Day 2018

Young Researchers’ Day 2018 took place on 8 June at DTU.

More than 80 researchers from across the entire network participated in a day filled with knowledge-sharing and networking.

The programme was:

10.00-10.30 Icebreaker with coffee and tea
10.30-10.45 Welcome speech 
10.45-12.30 Elevator pitches
12.30-14.30 Poster session and lunch
14.30-15.00 Best poster award and closing of scientific session
15.00-17.00 Team building (Only DHRTC sponsored young researchers: MSc 
Students, Research Assistants, PhD students and Post Doc)
17.30- Dinner, drinks and socializing (Only DHRTC sponsored young 
researchers: MSc Students, Research Assistants, PhD students 
and Post Doc)

45 posters got showcased and three won

With a three-minute elevator pitch, every master-thesis student, PhD student or Postdoc could present their poster, underlying research and invite people to visit their poster if they wanted to know more about the research. Afterwards, the participants had two hours to share knowledge and network. Based on the best poster and presentation this year's top three winners were: Sofie Gottfredsen from DHRTC, Ricardo Rizzo from DTU and Marius Tarpø from Aarhus University.
