Summer School 2024

In August, participants connected with talented researchers from around the world at DTU's Summer School.

Participants during the DTU Offshore Summer School 2024.

The Summer School 2024 on Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) at DTU has been a tremendous success. Over five days, participants delved into CO2 storage challenges and opportunities through a series of expert lectures and case studies.

The program covered diverse topics, including CO2 trapping mechanisms, cold CO2 injection, and numerical storage modeling. Participants explored issues like CO2-induced corrosion, wellbore integrity, and Denmark’s CCS plans, gaining comprehensive insights into the field.

The event also featured a field trip to Vestforbrænding, providing practical experience and a closer look at CCS applications.

Summer School 2024 offered valuable knowledge and fostered connections among industry professionals and researchers, advancing understanding of CO2 storage technologies.

Here is the program from our summer school in 2024.
