Danish Offshore Technology Conference 2024
On November 19, 2024, we'll dive into the future of the North Sea addressing scenarios for the Offshore Energy Transition.
The North Sea holds tremendous potential for energy production. However, one of the key challenges in the green transition is how to optimize regions such as the North Sea for energy production while respecting the environment and other industries that depend on it.
The day will feature various keynote speakers who will share their insights into the offshore energy transition with a focus on energy policy, innovation and technology, e.g. Director-General for Energy at the European Commission, Ditte Juul Jørgensen, Minister for Climate, Energy and Utilities, Lars Aagaard, CTO and founder of Stiesdal, Henrik Stiesdal, and the International Energy Agency.
Additionally, there will be technical deep-dive sessions with time to explore research, review data, and results in areas including offshore energy infrastructure, subsurface storage of CO2, and offshore water management.
The conference also provides great networking opportunities with the Brella 1:1 matchmaking tool and the always popular poster session.
