CCS Conference 2024

Storage of CO2 is a key part of Denmark’s road towards negative emissions in 2050 and at the same time, Denmark has an ambition of becoming a CO2 storage hub for Europe. The technologies behind the storage of CO2 are mature, however, there are remaining risks and uncertainties when it comes to implementation.

This conference will focus on the risks/uncertainties associated with CO2 storage in Denmark, looking at both offshore and onshore storage sites. The risks and uncertainties that will be addressed cover a wide range of issues from lack of high-quality data, and technology maturation to social acceptance.

Accelerated maturation of CO2 storage sites is key if Denmark is to become a storage hub and the ability to exchange experience and concerns can support the road to implementation. With this conference, DTU Offshore invites you to take part in the necessary exchange of knowledge and experience for CO2 storage sites.
