CCS Conference 2026: From Exploration to Implementation
Save the date for our 5th CCS Conference.
Denmark's CCS sector is progressing on multiple fronts. Exploration licenses for both onshore and offshore storage sites are now being executed, with work programmes underway and new geological data emerging. At the same time, the Danish Government is strengthening its commitment to CCS, with increasing national support for large-scale, full-value chain implementation. The question is no longer whether CCS will contribute to meeting our climate targets, but rather how we navigate the transition from exploration to implementation and how quickly we can scale it up.
This conference brings together industry, regulators, and researchers to share insights from Denmark's Carbon Capture and Storage developments. Industry partners holding exploration licenses will present findings from their ongoing work programmes, including technical learnings about reservoir characterisation, containment, and injectivity. Preliminary risk assessments and the uncertainties that naturally accompany capture and subsurface storage at scale will be discussed.
We'll also look beyond Denmark's borders. International speakers will share technical solutions and lessons learned from other CCS regions, offering perspectives that can guide more effective decision-making and accelerate progress.
The challenges ahead require collaboration between industry, government, and academia. If you're involved in shaping Denmark's CCS future, this is the place to be.
For now, save the date - registration will open soon.
