The centre has analytical laboratories with state-of-the art equipment in areas such as chromatography, NanoIR, and chemical analysis of trace elements in liquid and solid samples.
We offer a broad range of analytical capabilities for research projects. The advanced equipment covers several types of chemical analysis:
ICP-OES
Analyzing trace elements in samples using inductively coupled plasma spectroscopy for metal analysis.
Liquid chromatography
HPLC coupled with high-res mass spectrometer for organic molecule analysis in various liquids, including wastewater.
Ion chromatography
Ion chromatography equipment for quantification of organic and inorganic anions and cations in aqueous samples.
Gas chromatography
GC-MS setups including a GC-MSD and a GC-QTOF instrument for analysis of volatile organic compounds.
