The 8th round of Radical Innovation Sprint is getting closer wrapping up the results of ten ideas at the Close Out Day 27 May.

This season’s Radical Innovation Sprint (RIS) is getting close to the finish line. The research phase for the 10 projects is ending by 30 April. After this there are two main events left both on 27 May at DTU Skylab, Centrifugevej 374, 2800 Lyngby:

9.00-11.00 RIS MASTERCLASS FOR INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS: our innovation experts will share the method, impact and valuable lessons learned of RIS on research-based innovation. The seats are limited but reach out to our team if you are interested. The invited industry professionals are welcome to stay afterwards and learn the results from the 8th round. Option to participate in the master class online is available. Program details:

10.30-17.00 RIS CLOSE OUT DAY: our innovation experts will facilitate a day where research groups share their results and learnings to a targeted audience. The day will be engaging and energetic to all participants. The programme is as follows:

We look forward to celebrate the radical ideas and follow their further research and development fate in joint innovation projects etc.

The 8th round RIS projects cover one or more of the following themes:

  • Rigless plug and abandonment (P&A) of oil & gas wells,
  • Monitoring, mitigation and subsurface restoration upon abandonment,
  • CO2 capture and storage,
  • Alternative energy production and storage offshore,
  • Sustainable redesign of offshore structures,
  • More sustainable Oil and Gas production
