At DTU Offshore, we are dedicated to addressing climate change through Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), a critical technology for reducing global carbon emissions and advancing toward Net Zero Emissions.

Our CCS research focuses on several key areas to ensure both the safety and cost-effectiveness of underground COstorage. We are developing advanced technologies for COcontainment, including systems for monitoring COinjection sites and detecting potential leaks to minimize environmental impact. We are also exploring methods to make COstorage more economical. This involves repurposing existing infrastructure and wells to extend their usability and improve long-term barrier integrity.

Our ongoing research and development projects are showing promising results, and we are eager to explore new collaborations with companies, academic institutions, and authorities to further advance CCS technologies.
